August 26, 2010, morning

This dream was only about an hour, 2 hours tops because Matt woke me up when he left (which was probably around 7-7:30). I woke up at 8:22.

Hard to pinpoint where it all started, as I believe the fugitive, serial killer, and zombie children thing was in the previous dream.
I remember going into work, which was in a rather large building. There were 3 stories to it and Children's was on the ground level, or 2nd floor. The basement was where mom worked, but I'm not sure what section it was because the upstairs was the adult's area. I walked down the stairs to the desk and looked at the schedule they had hanging by the desk. I was trying to figure out if they needed help. A coworker said they did need help and I saw that someone from Children's was scheduled, but it didn't say who so I stuck around. The desk and the decor were that of Children's, btw. There were many children running around and the Regional Manager was there trying to figure out some paperwork. I was a little worried she wouldn't want me there because I was working with my mom, but no one noticed.
My dad showed up, but he was acting a little odd... maybe drunk? He said he loved me, gave me a hug, and asked where mom was, so I pointed.
The music through out the dream was all classical style, but I don't think it's been written. It's the music of my dreams.
For some reason my mind decided to throw a couple of weird coworkers in there and I had to keep yelling at them for doing VERY inappropriate things. It was so busy in there I was getting very frustrated, so I took mom and we went on a break together. We went upstairs, but upstairs ended up being on a street. There was a stone stairway with a cliff on the right side, and a river on the left. At the top, there was a stone bridge on the left and I went and stood on it, staring down at the river. On the other side of the bridge (still left) was a metrolink track. While standing on the bridge looking out, there was a line of trees and some industrial power lines. Mom was talking to some people but I wasn't paying attention because the power lines in front of me started wobbling and moving, looking as if they were made of rubber. I realized it was the new transport for hobos and I started griping about it at mom. "This is such a stupid idea! If they keep this up, because it's like an earthquake. It's going to tear up the bridge!" When the second transport to my right started up, I looked over there and saw the road stretching and pulling. The bridge started rocking and bucking, and I got severe vertigo. I saw cracks appearing in the road and I struggled to get off the bridge. Mom and I went back down the stairs, hurrying to get back to work. On the way, I looked to my right and saw a strange little white star-shaped creature on a rock. It needed to be put back in the water, but when I got near it, something jumped out of the water and stood near it threateningly, so I backed off and continued back to work. Mom kept getting in the water but I was on the rocks so I was fine. There were some caves and I ended up heading the wrong way and had to jump over some slippery rocks. The cave was pretty, and was in the bottom of a huge hotel. We had to run up some rocks that turned into stairs as the rock was transformed into a 5 star hotel. The theme was red and gold, real classy. We ran up more flights of stairs in the back of the hotel and at the top of one flight was a samurai looking Yoda, holding a black lab. As I passed him, he turned into a black dog and bit my hand, but since it was a dream, I dropped a fence on his head and ran off. I felt like I was running out of time, like I was racing the clock. I made it to the top of the hotel and found the middle stairs, huge huge huge cavernous room. The stairs were very wide, with a double banister in the middle. There were people everywhere. I bolted down the stairs like I was the Flash. I was practically flying. I had lost track of my mom and was trying to find her. I made it to a banister over looking the massive cavern, with stairs on either side. I stared down and overheard someone asking about a breed of dog. Someone mentioned something about 10% infertility, and the dude misheard and said, "Oh yeah! In Philly, I was born there!"
Then I woke up. And then the phone rang asking about our dog... DX
